This director is primarily responsible for the brand management of the Waters portfolio along with identifying key audiences and developing and managing sales strategies and a global marketing plan for The Waters. Lead the formulation, coordination and implementation of all internal and external sales/marketing and communication in support of brand awareness, stated business goals and customer acquisition and loyalty. Designs go to market strategies that position the organization for our exciting growth opportunities.Primary Responsibilities:Oversees all sales and marketing activities for the organization:Develops and executes marketing and sales strategies to meet the organizations strategic plan; evaluates market conditions and recommends policy changes to encourage growth in market sharesOversee and conduct market assessments to identify market needs and determine the scope of the market opportunityWorks closely with senior leadership and marketing team members to define strategies package and rollout new products as well as upgrade communications on existing productsProvides marketing leadership by articulating the vision and direction to key customers (internal and external)Creates marketingcurriculum and provides training for key colleagues on appropriate marketing strategies for community growthDefines, supports, and creates "state of the art" collateral material, website design, advertising, campaigns, etc.Lead brand and communications strategy, positioning and target audience development:Set key messages to raise brand awareness and articulate brand position. Manage dissemination and use of consistent brand messaging across the Company and all communitiesEnsure compliance with all branding standards at the corporate and community levelServe as the communication content expert for all corporate, PR and community marketing activities.Identify, develop and manage corporate wide and community based annual marketing plans including plans for new communities that support preopening (construction) and fill stages for each community.Oversee production of all collateral material utilized in Company and site marketing to ensure brand message and standardsWork with public relations, web designers and printing vendors for seamless written and visual marketing and communication strategyLead digital strategy including web presence, social media, site content and search optimization, and perform regular analytics of website usageDevelop operational processes to support and facilitate ease of marketing at the community levelWork closely with the Regional Director of Sales to support all communication and marketing strategies and budgets at the community levelIdentify media outlets that reach key constituency groupsLead the development and execution of a crisis communication planWork with the finance office to develop the corporate marketingbudgetDevelop and manage efforts to measure the effectiveness of marketing efforts (ROI) and assess impact of key competitive strategies and category trends. Adjust plans based on ROI to best capitalize on real time analyticsLead resident satisfaction surveys/focus groups and disseminate key findings to relevant leaders to inform opportunities for improvement, engagement and expansionEducation & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in business, communications and marketing, advanced degreepreferred8+ years of progressive sales, marketing and public relations experience formulating and executing communication and marketing strategies at a corporate level that support producing results at the local levelKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesExcellent knowledge of general business, communication, branding and marketing principles and practices.Proven experience driving occupancy in multi-housing, senior housing or long-term care in a multi-site organizationProven record of successful new product/market launchesExperience in and/or supervising corporate communication, marketing and branding strategies.Demonstrated ability to utilize market intelligence from a variety of sources to identify market trends, understand implications and create new business opportunitiesMust have solid knowledge of strategic planning and analysis, managed care market dynamics and financial analysisHigh familiarity with the media and communities of the Twin Cities metro areaAbout The Waters Senior LivingThe Waters Senior Living is committed to helping seniors and team members thrive.
