Job Description:
TelForce Group is looking for a Business Development Manager in the Chester, SC area. This is a full time, direct hire position.

Assists in revenue generation by functioning as the primary contact person for business growth with new home developers, builders and real estate professionals in the company’s serving area. Facilitates the process for home owners in new build and extension areas to connect services. Tracks the progress of new build and extension areas and recommends additional marketing efforts or focus as needed. Works to establish close relationships with real estate agencies and builders in service areas to establish us as the “go to” provider for all new residents moving into the serving area. Develops and maintains a “welcome” program in each of the serving areas for new home owners. Establishes and maintains contact with the zoning offices in each area to make sure company is aware of all new construction opportunities.

Business Development Manager Description:
• Seeks and identifies business development opportunities with an emphasis on new build and extension areas
• Works closely with the Engineering, Construction and Field Operations teams to determine feasibility and timing of new build projects
• Develops and maintains Welcome Program to partner with builders and real estate agents
• Establishes and maintains a process to contact prospective customers in new build and extension service areas to communicate service options and schedule installations
• Communicates regularly and effectively with builders and sales agents of new home construction areas to facilitate growth
• Provides weekly and monthly reports on a timely basis detailing progress of new residential developments as well as established extension areas
• Lead role in the marketing of the Security and Home Automation product including the tracking of site surveys, follow up and installation
• Assists with and provides suggestions/insight to the Marketing team on tactical initiatives including advertising, digital and social media, event and sponsorship opportunities to engage prospects in new build and extension areas
• Provides training and product updates for Sales teams as needed
• Travels to other market areas based on needs of the business, may occasionally require overnight stay
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Business Development Manager Qualifications:
• 3+ years of wireline telecommunications sales and/or marketing experience required
• Proficient knowledge of telecommunication products and services including video, voice, internet and home automation/home security
• Must be able to work accurately with various office equipment such as personal computer, software programs, telephone systems and related business processes
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are required
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, co-workers and various business contacts in a professional and courteous manner
• Skilled in sales and persuasion techniques
• Exceptional ability to plan, organize and prioritize multiple work assignments
• Ability to interpret information and make sound decisions using information at hand
• Must be able to work efficiently with or without supervision
• Must maintain superior attendance and promptness
