This position is ultimately responsible for all aspects of financial management for the manufacturing division encompassing three manufacturing facilities. Overview:Position Summary: The Director, Group Manufacturing Controller is a critical leadership position within the Finance and Operations teams. This position is ultimately responsible for all aspects of financial management for the manufacturing division encompassing three manufacturing facilities, business support for the Manufacturing Vice President leading the division, and financial leadership for company-wide capital assets function. This position requires the ability to work effectively within a matrix organization, handle multiple priorities in an efficient manner, lead remote teams and communicate effectively with executive management. The position requires a strong background in accounting, finance, financial control, analysis, and reporting. Organizational Relationship:Reports directly to the Sr. Vice President - Operations FinanceAccountabilities: Understand the physicals and financials of the business and use that knowledge to drive the right behavior in the manufacturing environments.Partner with the Vice President, the plant leadership teams, and supply chain leadership to develop strategic plans and define future state alternatives.Control manufacturing costs within budget.Coordinate capital expenditure and capacity planning for the facilities.Prepare and execute strategies that optimize working capital.Lead continuous improvement efforts including standardization with several facilities.Preparation and review of periodic financialreports including division P&L and performance metrics.Provide financial forecasts and represent the manufacturing group to corporate.Define and monitor controls in a manufacturing environment.Direct leadership of the division financial team (plant controllers and analysts) and capital assets team (supervisor and analysts).Consistently demonstrates the Six for Success: Be trustworthy, Commit to your team, Listen to understand, Serve your customer, Prepare and plan and Deliver the result.Other duties, incidental or regular, as may be assigned at management's discretion.Characteristics & Attributes:Ability to prepare and communicate presentations at the executive level (effectively communicate up).Knowledge and experience regarding ERP & MRP systemsExcellent verbal and written communication skills - the ability to take complex subject matter and package in a story-board format that is clear and simple.The ability to align priorities, organize resources and lead individuals / groups to drive results by overcoming obstacles and holding people accountable.Education & Experience:Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance is required. CPA, CMA, or MBA is a plus.Minimum of 8years overall financialexperience with significant exposure to Operations and/or Supply Chain Management and demonstrated history of increasing responsibility including supervision in a manufacturing environment. Past experience as a Plant Controller is desired.Demonstrated ability to lead a cross functional team.
