We are currently looking for a Foreman – Tower Crew with experience leading 3-4 man crews. The Foreman – Tower Crew will oversee field projects, crew members, and report progress to construction and/or project managers. This position will engage in construction, installation, inspection, or maintenance of sites as required by various client requests. We offer: • Top pay – Top Tower Techs/Foreman = $$$$$ • Travel expenses/lodging/per diem is paid when out of market • 100% company paid medical, dental, and life insurance benefits • Paid holidays, paid vacation, and paid time off • Sign-on bonus • Upward mobility – grow your career with our growing company Essential Job Functions: • Perform all tasks in a safe manner, ensuring safety of self and crew by adhering to work practices outlined in the SiteMaster Safety Manual; • Lead by example, demonstrating an attitude of safety, cost control, asset management, and professionalism to all in direct supervision; • Maintain safety and training licenses such as tower fall protection and radio frequency safety; • Manage, inspect and maintain personal protective equipment, including climbing harness, protective headgear, climbing devices, and necessary safety equipment and complete daily log; • Perform scheduled inspections and maintenance on all assigned sites, in accordance with customer specifications; • Inspect and photograph all assigned sites during scheduled period; • Inspect and/or repair tower lighting systems, if applicable; • Perform tower maintenance activities required, including elevated maintenance and repairs. Take before and after photos and document materials used; • Perform various construction tasks as assigned; • Daily preparation and planning to enable efficient travel to sites and performance of duties at sites; • Manage assets/equipment such as vehicle, phone, computer, camera, harness, and safety equipment; • Submit vehicle report monthly and equipment inventory report quarterly; • Control costs of services (hotels, mobile phone, job supplies, etc.); • Maintain periodic contact with customer field personnel, as needed, to resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction; • Utilize email and telephone as preferred means of corporate communication; • Give recommendations to improve efficiency, productivity, and customer service; • Other duties as assigned by Team Leader;
Education: • High school diploma preferred;
Required Skills and/or Experience: • Three or more years in tower industry as a Foreman with 2+ years of experience running 3-4 man cell Tower Crews (preferred). • Prior experience with tower modifications, running lines & antennas, LTE installs, and plumb & tensioning. • Tower fall protection and radio frequency safety training required; • OSHA 10, First Aid/CPR and RF Awareness Certifications or must be able to pass coursework to obtain certification. • Basic knowledge and training in the hazards associated with tower climbing, construction equipment, and working on or near energized lines and equipment, and appropriate safety precautions and equipment. • The proper care and use of personal protective gear (e.g. hard had, climbing belt, steel-toed boots, etc.); • Operating welding equipment to fabricate tower hardware; • The basic care and use of hand and power tools; • Operating heavy construction equipment (e.g. ditch witch, snowcat, forklift, 4-wheel drive truck, trailer, crane, backhoe, front loader, etc.); • Excellent written and oral communications skills; • Computer literacy; • Excellent work ethic, with drive and organizational skills to work unsupervised; • Excellent customer service skills, with ability to solve problems and maintain positive attitude; • Must have a valid driver's license with a safe/acceptable driving record in compliance with company policy (5 years of history); • Ability to work hours outside of normal schedule with little or no advance notification required; • Must be comfortable interacting within all levels of company and customer organizations; • Must be able to pass background check; • Must successfully pass a Pre-employment substance abuse test; • Must comply with SiteMaster’s drug and alcohol policy;

Working Conditions/Physical Demands: 1. Ability to consistently climb tall structures (100 feet or more) with 50 lb. load to perform work at altitudes of 300+ feet. 2. Ability to consistently lift heavy objects (up to 40 pounds). 3. Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions. 4. Availability to work irregular hours and/or respond to emergency call-outs on a 24 hour basis. 5. Ability to travel extensively. 6. Applicant/Employee’s weight and tools combined may not exceed 280-pound weight limit as specified by the manufacturer of safety equipment. 7. Applicant/Employee’s waist circumference must not exceed 60 inches measured at the navel as specified by the manufacturer of safety equipment. 8. Must be in good physical condition with the ability to bend, twist, squat and lift 50 lbs. and pull his/her own body weight plus equipment weight up a vertical tower repeatedly for long periods of time.
