We are looking for an experienced Wireless Construction Manager for a permanent opening in Fairfield, NJ.
What you will be doing as a Construction Manager:
Responsible for all aspects of construction on Company projects including; Vendor selection, on-site management/field coordination, managing subcontractors, OEM installers, creation of bill of materials, material and logistics management. Represent Company as the expert on construction issues relating to construction/modification of telecom, wireless sites, and other construction related projects. To include; towers, rooftops, co-locations, backhaul, fiber, DAS and small cell projects (in-building iDAS, ROW and public or private oDAS & small cells) along with inside & outside plant construction methods. Oversight for DAS and small cell projects will include activities related to above and below-ground fiber installation, hub construction, node construction and related utility make-ready. Ensure all assigned projects are completed according to mutually agreed upon timeline and budget of customer and Company. Ensure all work is conducted in accordance with Company policies and procedures in support of Company objectives.
What you will bring to the table as a Construction Manager:
Minimum five (5) years of telecommunications/wireless construction experience Knowledge of Inside and Outside (aerial and underground) Plant Construction techniques. Familiarity with test equipment and techniques for performing RF Sweep test, OTDR, Power Meter and Passive Intermodulation (PIM) testing. Thorough understanding of electrical and RF principles. Working knowledge of NESC, NEC and OSHA standards.
