Job Description:
Construction Project Manager – Telecommunications
Pioneer Communications Group LLC is a regional telecommunications company based in WA. Due to our success and growth, we have immediate openings for a Project Manager. Come and be a part of the fastest growing market in the United States!
Position Overview:
• Construction Project Manager reporting to the Senior Project Manager to join our team in-market.
• The Construction Project Manager will be responsible to lead all construction of large scale infrastructure programs within the market.
• Position is based within a region, and may require some travel.
• The Construction Project Manager supports the Senior Project Manager with project needs and goals and supports the communication of goals to appropriate team members.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Ideal candidate is conscientious, responsive, and takes pride in their work
• Responsible for safety and execution plans of the site builds
• Responsible for quality control deliverables
• Provides and executes schedule compliance of multiple site projects in various stages of deployment
• Oversees utility coordination and utility readiness of the site
• Manages Service-Level Agreements with construction vendors and subcontractors
• Provides the Senior Project Manager (SPM) with accurate and timely status reports, ensuring SPM is fully aware of all issues
• Supports the resolution of program issues and tracking of progress updates
• Provides on-time and high quality construction planning and execution
• Supervises construction progress, ensures quality standards and completion dates
• Monitors and maintains the quality of the execution projects by performing in-process and final quality checks
• Develops MOPs for each project and review Method of Procedure (MOP) with customer prior to start of project
• Interfaces with the SPM as required to complete projects, clarify project status, and meet customer needs
Required Qualifications:
Five or more (5+) years of wireless infrastructure or telecom building experience
• Three or more (3+) years of supervisory or management experience
• Must understand quality standards and perform in-process checks
• Experience using technology to remotely monitor construction progress
• Possess satisfactory written/reading communication skills and be adaptable to changing environments
• Experience in wireless, telecommunications, construction, and/ or public utility is required
