Job Description:
The Wireline Account Manager reports directly to the COO of the NY Telecom Division. The position is located in the Holmdel, NJ Corporate Office.

Job Role and Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day activities related to project management of current project for assigned Wireline clients.

Process all construction bid requests for Aerial, OSP, ISP and UG Civil construction for assigned accounts.

Work directly with Field Operations team to coordinate all construction work and ensure on time delivery of all projects.

Lead communications with client and provide project updates as per established requirements (i.e., weekly status tracker) or ad-hoc.

Accurately track progress and deliverables for all projects, proactively work with client to mitigate construction and budget related issues (i.e. Change Orders).

Complete ISP/OSP red-line asbuilts for client delivery, liaison with Field

Operations and Engineering teams to develop UG asbuilts.

Responsible for maintaining accurate project tracking logs, PO tracking, permit requests and tracking, COI requests and invoicing of projects.

Responsible for all account finances including budget management, invoicing, forecasting, annual budget and expense review and approvals.

Attend in-person meetings at client offices in New York City, New Jersey and Pennsylvania as needed.

Works closely with and supervises the Junior Project Manager of the Wireline Division.

Provide weekly status updates to senior management and project team, ensure all parties are notified of issues.

Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Bachelor’s degree or some college courses preferred.

5+ years of experience in the Telecom Construction Industry, with understanding of Aerial, OSP, ISP and Civil construction.

Experience supervising employees and interacting with support staff and union employees.

Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint).

Smartsheet experience a plus.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Detail oriented and thrive in fast-paced environment.

Comfortable in customer facing role.
