Service Operations & Maintenance is looking for a highly experienced engineer with advanced skillsets in software upgrade and customer maintenance support. The selected candidate must demonstrate advance knowledge in remote FLASHWAVE Software Upgrade utilizing NETSMART 1500.
•Demonstrate firm understanding of Fujitsu FLASHWAVE platforms with associated management tools (NETSMART1500)
•Validates customer written Methods of Procedure (MOP) for specific projects as required
•Prioritize, classify, and escalate each incident according to Standard Operating Procedures
•Promptly communicate (written and verbal) critical information to management, users, and customers
•Meet or exceed contractual Service Level Objectives (SLO) and/or Service Level Agreements (SLA)
•Work assigned maintenance window work Sun-Thursday 10PM – 6AM
•Intermediate knowledge of SONET, DWDM, ETHERNET, and data communications networks.
•Broad working knowledge of Network Management and Monitoring systems
•Intermediate knowledge of FLASHWAVE 9500 product line
•Intermediate knowledge of NETSMART 1500 management tool
•Strong written and verbal communication skills
•Ability to successfully deal with multiple tasks while under pressure
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
•Strong interpersonal skills
