TelForce Group is looking for a DC Power Installer Level 4 in the state of Washington.
This Level IV positions provides general field and installation support for Critical Facilities Power and Construction projects as directed by the Project Manager.
DC Power Installer Level 4 Responsibilities: • Level IV responsible for all MOP development; prior MOP development required • Leads a team of 2-4 resources performing power plant upgrades, new installs, modifications, etc. and some battery work as well • All telco central office or cable (CATV) head end environments • Replaces/repairs equipment and brings installation projects into quality and/or safety compliance • Performs additions, removals and modifications on working equipment and circuits including circuit modifications, software additions/upgrades, power transition work and addition/removal of batteries • Performs addition/removal of circuits on working power distribution sources • Performs equipment testing and turn-up • Serves as the installation supplier’s in-charge person as needed • Marks/corrects office record drawings • Maintains inventories of material and equipment for regional use and transports needed equipment to job site • Maintains a close interface with the client Regional Construction team and with all customer stakeholders regarding schedules, quantity and standards • Knows and implements customers’ standards of safety, installation quality, processes and communication methods • Escalates any issues to the Project Manager • Understand and enforces client’s standards of professionalism, quality, safety, metrics and processes • Understands and complies with installer task restrictions • Accurately tracks all time and expenses and reports back to the Project Management office using approved methods • Supports client’s sales team, cultivating customer relationships, identifying opportunities and delivering consistent quality and value • Provides work assignments to lower level installers as needed
DC Power Installer Level 4 Requirements: • High school diploma or equivalent • 4-6 years of experience in the field • CATV experience preferred • Ability to add/remove Common Systems equipment hardware • Ability to add/remove wiring and connections • Strong interpersonal, listening and communication skills • Ability to follow written and verbal directions • Detail oriented • Strong organizational skills • Works well under pressure
