Job Description Job Responsibilities include but not limited to: · Manage projects all sizes of projects through completion with strong ability to manage multiple projects at once. · Responsible for building strong client relationships, manage customer expectations to crews effectively in a timely manner. · Possess good communication skills and ability coordinate multiple crews. · Work with customer in resolving project deficiencies, damage claims and escalations. · Maintain weekly reports, trackers, cost controls, invoicing backup for each project. · Extensive experience in performing aerial utility pole line construction, UG construction and coaxial splicing per safety guidelines. · Train- Coax/Fiber systems and diagnose network related problems. · Train employees on construction, coax splicing, how to utilize specialized test equipment to troubleshoot networks. · Manage work force to perform pole transfers, set anchors, and rearrange existing pole attachments to clear power violations. · Manage, enforce, and communicate compliance with OSHA and industry safety requirements. · Work in high traffic conditions with the ability to conduct crews to properly setup signs/cones, control and direct traffic. · Ensure work is completed in a neat, safe and professional manner per company guidelines. · Possess good planning, multitasking, organizational and logical problem-solving skills. · Highly motivated and willingness to adapt to all types of high level work schedules. · Manage and work emergency responses when storm damage or disasters which cause network outages. Position Requirements: · Able to perform some physical labor when necessary (lift in excess 50 pounds) in outdoor weather environments. · Be able to coordinate or assist crews in proximity of primary, secondary line voltages and other hazards. · Understand how to operate utility bucket trucks and aerial lifts on utility pole lines per industry safety guidelines. · Ability to work in confined spaces when necessary. · Enforce proper use of PPE provided to crews and that work force follow safety procedures. · Ability to work with specialized test equipment, hand tools and all types of motorized equipment necessary to complete projects. · Ability to potentially travel from time to time on special projects. · Transport cable reel trailers and other construction equipment to job sites with provided utility service trucks when required. · On-call, Maintenance Window (12-6am) and potential weekend work when required to maintain project schedules. Experience and other requirements: · General computer skills to generate work reports and maintain provided project trackers · Ability to assess all types of job conditions and hazards prior to crews performing work · Possess good communications skills and leadership abilities · Assist in maintaining tool inventory, vehicle checklists and logs · Possess a valid driver license with a clean driving record · Able to read blueprints, design prints, SOW’s, create as-builts, and product training manuals · Pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening · Willingness to work inside maintenance window (12am-6am) from time to time, when required · Strong experience in Broadband construction and maintenance Candidates that possess construction qualifications and project experience may apply.
