|Candidate must come from cell tower / telecommunications industry and have relevant experience in the area of training and development.
Facilitates the design of training programs and collaborates with Subject Matter Experts in developing training that is reflective of Tillman’s business objectives. Delivers training to end users through various means, evaluates and measures results of all training initiatives.
Work across departmental and organization boundaries to effectively translate business needs into training courses and objectives.
Required experience and knowledge in specific areas such as: permitting, real estate, regulatory, environmental, A&E, leasing, and zoning.
Confers with management, supervisors and employees to gain knowledge of work situations requiring training and to better understand changes in policies, procedures, regulations, business initiatives and technologies.
· Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) from all levels within the company to translate complex information and concepts in easy-to-understand learning materials that are technically accurate.
Deliver training to employees through in person sessions, workshops, individual coaching or other training methods personally and /or in conjunction with Subject Matter Experts (SME’s).
Responsible for project management of online training development programs, materials and other online training resources.
Prepare instructional materials such as training aids, handouts, evaluation forms, and visual aids (and/or presentations) for training programs.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of curriculum. Define measures to track outcomes and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Provide general support as needed, reporting and specific requests.
Travel to regional offices is required (as necessary).
Reports to Senior Management on progress and status of company-wide Training & Development. EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent job experience
Min. of ten years of professional level technical/industry related experience with at least three years’ experience in designing, implementing and providing instruction on technical/industry training
Telecommunications- tower industry specific industry knowledge required
Excellent facilitation and project management skills
Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on coaching, influencing and consulting
Ability to communicate technical information to groups or individuals in a clear and concise manner
Proven success with adult learning principles, methodologies, and course design techniques
Highly self-motivated and self-directed
Proven success working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Min. 30% travel may be required in support of the position’s responsibilities.
